Glass Aluminum Door Installations

Store Fronts come in an array of different styles, colors & glass options.

 Aluminum Frame Colors:
The two most commonly used colors on storefronts are Bronze (Black) & Clear Anodized (white) for their ability to look good on nearly any building. Other Storefront colors are Red & Green. Gold is also available, however seldom used today, so you will pay more for this look.

Door Stile & Rail Options:
The vertical aluminum railing on a glass aluminum door is referred to as the Stiles. The top & bottom horizontal pieces are called Rails. They come in Narrow (2 ¾”), Medium (4”) and Wide (anything wider than 4”).

Frameless Glass Door: The Herculite Door
Herculite Doors are the most attractive and aesthetically pleasing entrance door you can install on your store front. The Herculite Door is a full-glass frameless door that appears to float in the entryway for maximum transparency.

Glass Options:
All glass installed in a store front must be Tempered Glass.
Also available is “Safety Glass” referred to as Laminated Glass. Laminated Glass is constructed of two pains of glass adhered together with laminate in the middle. This will keep the glass in one piece if broken.
Glass can be tinted in many colors including mirrored tint.

Sidelights:
The sidelights are the pains of glass directly next to the door opening.

Transom (top light):
This is the glass above the door opening.
